Donna Independent School District has been recognized on the national stage for its commitment to student safety, securing one of only 50 Omnilert Secure Schools Grant awarded across the United States.

Donna Independent School District is proud to announce that Superintendent Dr. Angela Dominguez has been named the 2025 Region One Superintendent of the Year by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). Dr. Dominguez received official notification of the honor on Friday, May 30, from the Region One Education Service Center.

This collaboration highlights Donna ISD’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education for Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 students.
