Mrs. M. Garcia

I am a proud graduate of Donna ISD and have dedicated more than 30 years of service to the district. My career began right after high school as a paraprofessional, a role I held for five years. After earning my bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas–Pan American, I served as a Special Education Teacher for six years. I then pursued a master’s degree from the same university and became an Educational Diagnostician for ten years. With my principal’s certification, I transitioned into administration, serving as a Dean of Instruction and Assistant Principal. Now in my 13th year as an administrator, I remain deeply committed to giving back to the district and community that shaped me.

 

 

Assistant Principal

Mrs. L. Zamora

My name is Mrs. Leticia Zamora, and I have served as an Assistant Principal at the BEST Middle School within Donna ISD for the past 14 years. Our campus has achieved an A rating for five consecutive years. In my capacity as Assistant Principal, I support our Campus Principal across various areas and prioritize the safety and well-being of all students and staff. Prior to this role, I was a 7th Grade Social Studies Teacher. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Composite, an Associate degree in Education from South Texas College, and a Master's degree in Administration-Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

 

 

 

Assistant Principal

Mr. Z. Guajardo

My name is Zenon Guajardo. With 25 years of experience in the Donna Independent School District, my career began after earning a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas Pan American. I served as a 7th-grade history teacher and coach at Veterans Middle School for five years while pursuing my Master's degree. I obtained my Master's in Administrative Leadership from Lamar University, after which I transitioned to my current role as Assistant Principal at A.P. Solis Middle School.
