Who let the dogs out? Donna ISD did — meet Koda, the district’s very own therapy dog! 🐶💙 Students at Solis spent time with Koda and felt firsthand how much comfort and calm a furry friend can bring. A huge thank you to Donna ISD for supporting students’ emotional well‑being.

Did someone say surprise dessert? 🍎🎉 Our amazing admin surprised all faculty and staff at A.P. Solis with a sweet apple dessert to show appreciation for their daily dedication to our students. We’re grateful for the hard work, care, and commitment our team brings every day.

Heart, hustle, and a whole lot of grit — our Lady Braves battled all weekend at the Solis MS 8th grade B tournament and pushed their consolation match vs Cuellar to a decisive 3rd set. Though the win slipped away, their spirit never did — and we know they’ll come back even stronger. Way to go, Lady Braves! 💙💪🌟🏐

What a day for Braves soccer! ⚽️🔥Yesterday, in their battle against Mary Hoge, our 7th grade boys fought hard and finished with a 1-1 tie thanks to a clutch goal from Itan Gonzalez. The 8th grade turned up the heat in a race-against-the-clock match — Jorge Torres netted two goals and Johnedw Martinez delivered an incredible finish. Huge midfield assists from Oscar Valadez and Orlin Cruz helped secure a 3-2 victory over the Jaguars. Proud of every player’s effort! Come out and support the Braves on Saturday, February 28 at 9 AM at Benny La Prade Stadium — who’s coming to cheer them on?

What a match! 🏐 Our 7th grade A girls faced Mary Hoge Middle School in a nail‑biting game this past Thursday — set scores: 25-22, 18-25, 15-12. They fought back after a tough second set and closed it out with grit and great teamwork. So proud of these players and coaches! 💙👏

Huge shoutout to the Solis Boys soccer teams for an incredible tournament weekend! ⚽️🔥

8th grade: Crushed Sauceda Middle School 1-0 in the semis and made it to the championship — finishing 2nd after a tough final against Veterans Middle School.
7th grade: Brought home a win in the semis against Sauceda Middle School, tied in the championship, but came up short in the PK tiebreaker — finishing 2nd.

What an inspiring night at Donna High — Middle School Night was a hit! ⚽️ Our DHS Varsity Girls Soccer Team welcomed middle school players who got to watch the game, meet future teammates, and see firsthand what high school sports are all about.
